IChemE Students Sports 2010

On behalf of the people of ChESS, I welcome all of you back to USMKkj to start the new semester. On 12 July 2010, we have received an invitation from IChemE Malaysia and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) to participate in the 2nd IChemE Asia Pasific Student Sports and Careers Day 2010. This event also includes 10 IChemE accredited universities from Malaysia and 4 more from Singapore. 

A career fair is added to the event, with booth space available in the main hall. In the evening, an award ceremony will be held, presented by the sponsor companies. 

Why should you join? Because it's a great opportunity for the you to interact with fellow chemical engineer students and personnel, build a lifetime relationship and gain a valuable insight into their future career path.

This event will be held on 1 - 2 October 2010 at Universiti Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam. Each university are allowed to send 1 full team maximum for each of the sports below.
  • Futsal - (Gents) - 8 Players/team
  • Futsal - (Ladies) - 8 Players/team
  • Basketball - 8 Players/team
  • Netball (Mixed)
  • Volleyball - 8 Players/team
  • Ten Pin Bowling - 4 Players/team
  • Online Games (FIFA & DOTA) - 5 Players/team (Mixed)
  • Frisbee (Mixed)
  • Badminton - 10 Players Maximum/team 
    • Single Man & Woman
    • Double Men & Women
    • Double Mixed
    • Reserve - 2 Players

Bengkel Penjenamaan USM

Pakaian: Smart Casual (Jeans dan tshirt tidak berkolar dibenarkan - selipar tidak dibenarkan)

Seramai 20 peserta diperlukan untuk menghadiri program tersebut Sila berikan nama kepada wakil kelas anda selewat-lewatnya 28hb Mac 2010. Berikut adalah tentatif ringkas program ini:
  • 7.00 P.M.- Menaiki bas dan bertolak ke Dewan Utama
  • 7.30 P.M.- Jamuan ringan
  • 8.00 P.M.- Bengkel Penjenamaan USM
  • 11.00 P.M.- Bersurai
p.s.: Amat digalakkan kepada pelajar tahun 1 dan 2. Mata CSD akan diberikan untuk sidang hadapan.

Makluman Chemical Night 2010

Untuk makluman semua, tarikh Chemical Night terpaksa ditukar kepada 31 Mac atas sebab-sebab tertentu. Antaranya ialah:

1 - Dekan dan timbalan-timbalan dekan ada kelapangan pada tarikh baru tersebut, tarikh sebelum ini terpaksa ditukar kerana mereka dipanggil untuk menghadiri program USM (Apex).

2 - Jika dilanjutkan lagi tarikh Chemical Night, banyak test akan dibuat pada mnggu-minggu akhir semester.

3 - Untuk makluman juga, Chemical Night tidak dapat dibuat awal dari tarikh 25 Mac yang dulu kerana Dewan Utama ditutup untuk Majlis Konvokesyen.

Harap maklum dan segala kesulitan amat dikesali.
